The Guitar Story (2nd edition)is the updated and in depth look of the evolution of the guitar, but it is not an attempt to include everything about the guitar or about every guitar ever made. This is the short story, yet it is fully comprehensive. I have stripped the fine print, educated guess work and in endless analysis down to the known facts. Also included are biographies of some of the greatest guitarists to date. A fun read for all. You do not need to be a guitarist to appreciate and enjoy this book. The history of the Carthage Police Department is not unlike that of agencies in many towns. Early Carthage policemen were not well paid, worked seven days a week and were subject to local political whims. There was no academy training - they depended on their wits and their brawn. But these brave lawmen dedicated themselves to maintaining the peace and security of their community, often at the risk of their own lives. Over time, conditions improved, with better pay and training, less political interference, improvements in equipment and technology, and a higher level of professionalism. The sense of dedication felt by our early policemen is still prevalent in our officers today. Thi ...

This document is intended to be easily read and serve as testimony to the author’s linage. This is not a conventional genealogy that simply lists names and dates, but it attempts to put flesh and blood to the dry bones of an ancestral history through the use of pictures, maps, and relevant digressions. It is the author’s hope that the most important result of this work is making known to future generations of the Kennedy family and other related Germans and Irish families the noble acts of a group of ancestors and relatives who left Europe for various reasons in order to seek an uncertain fortune in the New World and once in the New World built lives that successfully prov ...
